He assists clients with governance, disclosure, and regulatory matters relating to their cybersecurity postures and the regulatory requirements which govern them.
He is an accomplished “First Responder” in the event of a cybersecurity breach and is well-skilled in the art of dealing with the corporate and reputational crisis than can result from a sophisticated data breach or nation-state attack.
Michael Brown, Rear Admiral, United States Navy (Retired). Brown is a senior cybersecurity specialist for The Edward Davis Company. Brown was most recently Vice President and General Manager of RSA Global Public Sector at RSA, the Security Division of EMC. sector agencies abroad.
Prior to RSA, he held the position of director for interdepartmental cybersecurity coordination at the Department of Homeland Security, where he led collaboration efforts with the Defense Department on cybersecurity planning, capabilities development and mission synchronization.
He is also a former deputy assistant secretary for cybersecurity and communications at DHS and assistant deputy director of the Joint Interagency Task Force at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.
Born and raised by military parents in California in a Montana cattle ranch, Denise is a passionate and effective leader with over 25 years of experience running successful cyber security and compliance sales strategies.
Denise brings proven information security leadership and marketing expertise with a focus on Managed Security, Compliance, and Digital Forensics services. Her experience includes the development, execution, and leadership in cyber security sales strategies that resulted in the successful growth in a two-billion-dollar company that Fortune named the fastest growing IT Service firm in the U.S.
